Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of inflation on exports using time series data from 2013 to 2022. A quantitative methodology using Eviews 12 was employed to analyze the relationship between inflation, exchange rates, and the coefficient of variation in exports through the VAR-VECM model. The findings reveal a bidirectional correlation between inflation and exchange rates, as well as a significant negative impact of inflation on exports. In the short term, other factors do not significantly influence the level of exports. However, in the long run, inflation is the primary factor contributing 1.53% to exports. This research provides theoretical implications for enhancing economic development and formulating economic policies aligned with objectives and conditions.
