Penerapan Circular Fashion Pada Perilaku Hedonisme Generasi Z Dalam Perspektif Ekonomi Islam
Abstract
Fashion has become a global phenomenon easily accessible to Generation Z due to technological advancements, yet this convenience has a dark side. This study aims to analyze the application of the circular fashion concept by Generation Z from an Islamic economic perspective. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through field research, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results show a gap between awareness of circular fashion and the actual consumption behavior of Generation Z. Although they recognize circular fashion as a sustainable solution, hedonistic consumption still dominates. From an Islamic economic perspective, this behavior needs to be balanced with the understanding and application of circular fashion principles. In conclusion, more effective approaches are needed to enhance the awareness and application of circular fashion among Generation Z. The study highlights the importance of developing targeted educational and communication strategies to promote sustainable fashion practices in line with Islamic economic values.
