Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the conditions and impacts of the fish processing industry on the socio-economic status of the community in Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency. The research method used is a Mixed Methods approach with a sequential explanatory model, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis. The research object is the community of Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency, with a sample size of 120 respondents using questionnaires and interviews as data collection tools. The research findings indicate that the impact of the fish processing industry on the socio-economic status of the community is not yet significant. Many people in Kabila Bone District still fall under the low-income category, which is attributed to the low level of community knowledge regarding the management of fish catches.
