Analisis Usaha Jasa Titip Merchandise K-Pop Berdasarkan Perspektif Ekonomi Islam

Abstract


The Hallyu Wave phenomenon has driven high interest among Indonesians in K-Pop merchandise, creating business opportunities for Personal Shopper (Jastip). However, the practice of Jastip with a pre-order system often raises issues of uncertainty (gharar) regarding ownership of goods and the risk of fraud. The purpose of this study is to analyze the practice of the K-Pop merchandise Jastip business on the Instagram account @lalalilac.kr in terms of Islamic Economic principles, specifically the Wakalah bil Ujrah contract. This study uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach and in-depth interviews. The results show that the Jastip practice on the @lalalilac.kr account has generally implemented sharia principles through the Wakalah bil Ujrah contract. Indicators of price transparency, trustworthiness in transaction evidence, and professionalism (itqan) of service have been met. However, the clarity of the written contract in the full payment system needs to be strengthened to avoid potential gharar. In conclusion, this Jastip business is valid according to sharia as long as the pillars of the representative contract are fulfilled and free from fraud. The suggestion for this research is that consumers need to understand the transaction mechanism, fees charged, and refund provisions before ordering merchandise through a consignment service..
