The NIKe Journal published in print for the first time in June 2013. The publisher was the Department of Fisheries Technology, then under the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. The NIKe Journal available online since 2015 published by the Faculty of Fishery and Marine Science - Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.
