Kerapatan dan Sebaran Lamun di Perairan Teluk Tomini | Density and distribution of seagrass in Tomini Gulf
Abstract
This paper presents the density and distribution of seagrass in Tomini Gulf, Olimoo'o Village, Batudaa Pantai, Gorontalo Regency. The study was conducted from May to September 2014 by line transect method with a quadrant measuring 1x1 meters.The research location is divided into 3 stations. Seagrasses were found in 4 types namely Cymodocea rotundata and Syringgodium isoetitolium from the family Patomogetonaceae, and Halophila ovalis and Thalassia hemprichii from the family Hydrocharitaceae. Cymodocea rotundata has the highest density and seagrass distribution in Olimoo Village is clustered. Seagrasses grow on a variety of substrates consisting of broken coral, sandy, muddy sand, and rocky.
