Efektivitas Alat Tangkap Cumi Totabito di Desa Lamu | Effectiveness of squid fishing gear totabito in Lamu Village

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas alat tangkap cumi totabito yang dioperasikan oleh nelayan di Desa Lamu Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2016 sampai Februari 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa alat tangkap cumi totabito memiliki efektivitas relatif yang berbeda antara satu dengan lainnya. Alat tangkap dengan lampu LED warna hijau memiliki tingkat efektivitas sebesar 29,90 %, LED warna biru sebesar 41,89 % dan LED warna-warni (merah, biru dan hijau) sebesar 28,21 %. Terlihat bahwa pancing cumi totabito dengan lampu LED berwarna biru yang paling banyak menghasilkan cumi.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of totabito squid fishing gear operated by fishermen in Lamu Village, Batudaa Pantai District, Gorontalo Regency. This research was conducted in August 2016 to February 2017. The method used is a survey method. Analysis of the data used in this research is descriptive analysis. From the results of the study showed that totabito squid fishing gear has a relative effectiveness that is different from one another. Fishing gear with green LED lights has an effectiveness level of 29.90%, blue LEDs at 41.89% and multi color LEDs (red, blue and green) at 28.21%. It appears that totabito squid fishing gear with blue LED lights produce squid the most.
