Jambura Journal of Educational Chemistry (JJEC) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Department of Chemistry, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. This journal was first published in February 2019 with ISSN (Online) 2656-6427. In the first until now volume, the journal had been published online. The following is the historical milestones of JJEC.
- First published (Volume 1 Issue 1) in February 2019, the citation style is using the APA 7th edition style, under the coordination of the first Editor in Chief Prof. Dr. Lukman A.R. Laliyo, M.Pd. MM.
- Starting in February 2021, the citation style is changed using the APA 7th edition style.
- Starting in 2021, JJEC Editorial Office moved to Jl. Prof. Dr. Ing. B. J. Habibie, Moutong, Tilongkabila, Bone Bolango 96554, Gorontalo, Indonesia.
- Jambura Journal of Eduacational Chemistry (JJEC) has been accredited with a SINTA 4 by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 158/E/KPT/2021 starting from Volume 1 Issue 1 2019 to Volume 6 Issue 2 2024.
- Starting in August 2022, JJEC used a New Template.
- Since 2019, JJEC has been indexed by CrossRef with the DOI prefix 10.34312. In 2024, JJEC will adopt a new DOI, namely 10.37905.
- To enhance the quality and impact of our journal, starting from Volume 6 Issue 2 (2024), the editors will accept manuscripts only in English. The editorial team will only accept manuscripts that comply with the specified formatting requirements.
- In 2024, JJEC achieved an upgrade to SINTA 3 accreditation, based on the decision of the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (No. 177/E/KPT/2024). This upgrade is effective from Volume 5 Issue 2 (2023) and is valid until Volume 10 Issue 1 (2028).
- Starting in February 2025 this journal charges the following author fees. If a paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication costs, 750000.00 (IDR).
- Starting from Volume 9 Issue 1 (February 2027), JJEC will implement a new manuscript template to improve the quality, consistency, transparency, and international visibility of published articles. The journal provides separate manuscript templates for Research Articles and Review Articles. The Review Article template includes specific guidance for preparing Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) and encourages transparent and reproducible review procedures in accordance with internationally recognized reporting standards. Authors are required to use the template that corresponds to the type of manuscript submitted.
