Author Guidelines

PEDOMAN PENULISAN ARTIKEL JAMBURA JOURNAL ENGINEERING EDUCATION (JJEE)

A. UMUM

• Naskah harus ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia/bahasa Inggris dan tidak pernah diterbitkan di jurnal mana pun yang memiliki ISSN atau ISBN.
• Naskah yang dikirimkan merupakan kajian ilmiah yang dihasilkan dari penelitian, studi kasus, atau studi literatur.
• Naskah harus ditulis dalam bentuk artikel (bukan laporan) dan disajikan mengikuti prinsip-prinsip tata bahasa Indonesia yang baik.
• Penulis harus mendaftar sebagai penulis melalui tautan berikut sebelum dapat mengirim dan mengunggah naskah: https://ejurnal.ung.ac.id/index.php/JJEE/index
• Naskah yang diterbitkan di JJEE adalah naskah yang telah ditinjau oleh peer reviewer.
• Staf editorial memiliki hak untuk mengedit naskah tanpa mengubah substansi isinya.
• Penulis bertanggung jawab penuh atas isi naskah yang diterbitkan.
• JJEE akan memberi tahu penulis apabila naskah tidak dapat diterbitkan.
• Naskah dan ilustrasi yang telah diserahkan secara hukum menjadi milik penerbit dan tidak boleh dipublikasikan di media lain tanpa izin resmi dari penerbit.
• Penulis diharapkan turut mendukung jurnal dengan menggunakan referensi dari artikel-artikel JJEE yang telah diterbitkan.
• Semua bentuk komunikasi dilakukan secara elektronik.

B. SISTEMATIKA PENULISAN MANUSKRIP

1. Judul

• Judul, nama penulis, institusi, dan email penulis yang sesuai (corresponding author).
• Judul tidak boleh lebih dari 15 kata dan harus menggambarkan keseluruhan isi tulisan.
• Judul ditulis dalam huruf Arial, ukuran 12, tebal (bold).
• Judul dalam bahasa Inggris juga tidak boleh lebih dari 15 kata.

2. Abstrak

• Abstrak ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris.
• Abstrak dibuat dalam satu paragraf tanpa subjudul, memuat: latar belakang, tujuan, metode, hasil, dan kesimpulan.
• Dilengkapi kata kunci (3–5 frasa).
• Ditulis dalam huruf Arial ukuran 10 (versi bahasa Inggris ditulis miring/italic).
• Maksimal 200 kata.

3. Isi Naskah

• Sub judul terdiri dari: Pendahuluan (memuat latar belakang, tinjauan literatur, perumusan masalah, dan tujuan — ditulis dalam satu bab tanpa subjudul terpisah), Metode, Hasil dan Pembahasan, Kesimpulan, serta Referensi.
• Manuskrip disajikan dalam format teks 1 kolom.
• Diketik dengan font Arial ukuran 11, ukuran kertas A4 (210 x 297 mm), spasi 1,5.
• Margin: kiri 30 mm, kanan 20 mm, atas 20 mm, bawah 20 mm.
• Panjang naskah: 4.000–6.000 kata.
• Gambar harus dalam format JPEG dengan resolusi minimal 300 dpi.
• Tabel dimasukkan langsung dalam isi teks, bukan sebagai lampiran.
• Gambar dan tabel diberi nomor menggunakan angka Arab; judul tabel/gambar dan informasi singkatnya ditulis dalam huruf Arial ukuran 10, tebal, spasi tunggal.

4. Referensi

• Penulisan referensi (sitasi dalam teks maupun daftar pustaka) wajib mengikuti format APA 7th Edition.
• Referensi yang digunakan diutamakan berasal dari sumber primer (jurnal ilmiah) yang relevan dan mutakhir, minimal 80% bersumber dari publikasi 10 tahun terakhir.
• Disarankan menggunakan aplikasi pengelola referensi (reference manager) seperti Mendeley atau Zotero untuk menjamin konsistensi format sitasi.
• Daftar pustaka disusun secara alfabetis sesuai nama belakang penulis pertama.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format, following the author guidelines and article template. Please make sure that you use Mendeley to help in referencing. A guide to using Mendeley as a reference manager is provided.
3. Where available, URLs or DOIs for the references must be provided, and try to use the most up-to-date references. Do pay attention that JPTI prefers journal articles, research reports, and conference proceedings as the main references.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

7. Once the copyright form is signed, please upload on the last step of the submission as a supplementary material.

The author who publishes in Jambura Journal Engineering of Education agrees to the following terms:

1. The journal allows the authors to hold the copyright without restrictions and allow the authors to retain publishing rights without restrictions. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a  Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
