Keterampilan Menjelaskan Guru Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Terpadu

Abstract


This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of teacher's explanation skills on student's learning outcomes in the integrated social science. This research employs a quantitative approach with the descriptive quantitative method, and the sample consists of 59 students. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and data analysis employs simple regression. The results indicate a significant positive influence between the teacher's explanation skills and the student's learning outcomes in the integrated social science. The coefficient of determination from the regression model obtained earlier is 0.360, meaning that the teacher's explanation skills explain 36.0% of the variation in learning outcomes. In other words, the better the teacher's explanation skills, the higher the student's learning outcomes, and the remaining 64.0% is influenced by other variables which are not examined in this research
