Analisis Efektivitas Kebijakan Work Life Balance Pada PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia Regional I Medan

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the work-life balance policy implemented by PT Pelindo Regional I. Work-life balance is a concept of balance between work and personal life of employees. The work-life balance policy implemented at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Regional I has succeeded in improving employee welfare. Some of the policies are flexible working hours, flexible leave policies, and employee welfare programs. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design.The data obtained was analyzed through interviews conducted by 10 employees of the Head of the Human Resources & Public Service Division, then processed using Nvivo 14 software. In addition, data collection is also carried out through literature studies. The results of the study show that the work-life balance policy implemented at PT Pelindo Regional I has been effective in improving the balance between employees’ work and personal lives.
