Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for increasing organizational commitment through a program to strengthen organizational culture, work engagement, and trust in healthcare workers at Proklamasi Hospital, Karawang. The population in this study was all healthcare workers at Proklamasi Hospital, totaling 104 people. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the help of the SmartPLS 4 application. The results showed that organizational culture did not have a significant effect on organizational commitment. However, organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on healthcare workers' trust and work engagement. Furthermore, healthcare workers' trust and work engagement were proven to have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. In addition, healthcare workers' trust and work engagement were proven to be able to significantly mediate the effect of organizational culture on organizational commitment. These findings indicate that strengthening organizational culture will be more effective in increasing organizational commitment if followed by an increase in healthcare workers' trust and work engagement.
