PENINGKATAN POTENSI WISATA DANAU MENO NUSA TENGGARA BARAT MELALUI INTEGRASI DESAIN ARSITEKTURAL DAN LINGKUNGAN

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the optimization strategy of tourism development potential in the area of Lake Meno which is a specialty of Gili Meno island that is not owned by the other two Gili Islands. The condition of the lake meno area which was previously poorly maintained with minimal tourist facilities and quiet visitors became the basis for the development of a tourist area design that integrates architecture and environment so that the development of tourist areas can be aligned. This study uses a type of qualitative approach through observation or observation along with the exposure of field data. Primary and secondary data collection was conducted as supporting research data. Design recommendations are presented in the form of illustrations of three-dimensional images in accordance with the tourist attraction. The design is made in such a way as to minimize the negative impact on the surrounding environment. This research suggests an integrative approach that involves collaboration between government, community, and architecture professionals to design tourism infrastructure that is not only attractive but also environmentally friendly, in order to support the development of Lake Meno as a sustainable tourist destination.
