PENGARUH SELUBUNG BANGUNAN TERHADAP KINERJA TERMAL RUMAH TINGGAL DI SURABAYA

Abstract


Langgam arsitektur memberikan pengaruh pada bentuk dan penggunaan elemen desain pada bangunan. Dari sudut pandang arsitektural, fasad merupakan komponen penting dalam perwajahan bangunan yang menunjukan nilai estetika dan ekspresi arsitekturalnya.  Hunian di Indonesia pada saat ini dibangun dengan berbagai langgam yang berbeda. Perbedaan elemen arsitektur pada selubung bangunan memberikan ekspresi langgam yang berbeda-beda pada masing-masing rumah tinggal yang juga mempengaruhi kinerja termal bangunan dan kenyamanan penggunanya. Simulasi design builder dilakukan pada bentukan bangunan dibatasi dengan tiga Langgam Arsitektur yaitu tropis, minimalis, dan modern yang memiliki luasan yang sama yaitu 110 m2. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa rumah tinggal minimalis dengan atap datar memiliki suhu/temperatur sepanjang hari yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan rumah tinggal modern dan tropis serta kelembaban yang cukup rendah.
