Jambura Geo Education Journal (E-ISSN 2721-7019, P ISSN 2721-7000 ). is a peer-reviewed journal published by Geography Education Study Program, FMIPA, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Geography Education Study Program provides open access to the principle that research published in this journal is freely available to the public to support the exchange of knowledge globally. JGEJ published two issue articles per year namely October-March and April-September. JGEJ provides a place for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish scientific articles. Each text sent to the JGEJ editor is reviewed by peer review. Starting from Vol. 1 No. 1 (March, 2020), all manuscripts sent to the Jambura Geo Education Journal editor are accepted in English. The scope of the articles listed in this journal relates to various topics, including:
1. Geography Education (Classroom Action Research of Geography Studies, Development of Geography Learning Model, Development of Geography Learning Method, Studies of Geography Learning Content, Studies of Geography, Education Policy)
2. Social Geography (Demography, urbanization, city development, social structure and changes in the urban environment, social structure in society, environment and development, disasters related to society. human activities on the environment, Cultural Geography, Tourism Geography).
This journal is available in print and online and highly respects the ethics of publication and avoids all types of plagiarism.

The JGEJ Journal is committed to engaging and playing an active role in fostering scientific collaboration through the JGEJ Journal at the global level. Therefore, manuscripts with first authors from countries outside Indonesia are not charged any fees for publishing in the JGEJ Journal. Forthcoming publication schedules which are still open for submission is Vol. 6 No. 2 September 2025, and Other forthcoming issues.
