Manuscript Types

JJETL publishes the following types of manuscripts in English. All types go through double-blind peer review.

  1. Research Article: original empirical research (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods) in English language teaching, applied linguistics, literature, or translation. Length: 5,000-8,000 words, including references.
  2. Literature Review: a systematic, scoping, or critical review that synthesises existing research and identifies gaps. The review method (for example, search strategy and inclusion criteria) must be reported. Length: 5,000-9,000 words.
  3. Literary and Textual Analysis: an in-depth critical analysis of literary works, films, or other texts, grounded in a clearly stated theoretical framework. Length: 5,000-8,000 words.

Manuscripts follow the structure in the Author Guidelines and use the JJETL template.
